Danny
McGuigan - Center Director
Danny
was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland and educated both in Belfast and
Glasgow, Scotland. He holds a number of graduate and postgraduate
qualifications from Queens University Belfast and an MBA from the
Strathclyde Graduate Business School at the University of Strathclyde
in Glasgow. He is close to completing his PhD in the Human Resource
Management Department at Strathclyde where he is also guest lecturer
in marketing, lecturing annually on marketing and business growth.
Having
worked for Siemens and the British Council in the early 1980’s he
went to Glasgow for MBA studies and subsequently took up a number of
sales / marketing and general management positions in the UK before
setting up his own marketing consultancy. Fifteen years later Danny
switched consultancy discipline to Human Resources.
He
is currently Centre Director of his thriving HR practice based in
Glasgow and directs a team of business consultants, psychologists and
counselling therapists in Glasgow and Munich. His team specialises in
pressures at work auditing, leadership development, teambuilding and
organisation culture change. The client portfolio includes both public
sector and private sector organisations in the UK, Ireland and
Germany. Danny is also developing training strategies for emotional
coaching and is passionate about the role of emotions for high
performance in our professional and personal lives.
Terry Daly
Terry
works as part of a team within the University of Strathclyde in
Glasgow Scotland providing Postgraduate training in psychotherapy and
runs a private practice offering psychotherapy and supervision of
psychotherapists.
He
has a background in social work and the voluntary sector over a period
of 23 years in London and Glasgow. He holds Diplomas in Social work
and Person-centered Psychotherapy.
He
is currently a United Kingdom Registered Counsellor (UKRC) and a
British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy approved trainer.

has a particular interest in offering training in human growth and
development and communication skills.
Linda
Goodwin-Huber-Wilhelm
Linda
has been a trainer and consultant to international businesses since
1984. She studied at the University of Massachusetts and became
certified as a bi-lingual teacher in English and German. She did
post-graduate studies in psychology and intercultural communications
both in Portland, Oregon and at the Ludwigs-Maximilians University in
Munich, Germany, which she has called home since 1972.
Linda
has been developing and delivering training programs to facilitate
human integration in the global corporate environment for the past 22
years. Among her major clients are Siemens Corporation and many of its
business partners worldwide, Chrysler, KPMG, Bang & Olufsen,
Unilever, Microsoft, Cyanamid, IBM, Toshiba, TBWA Ltd, European Vinyls
Corp. and the West German Broadcasting Corporation. She has also
conducted programs for the Universities of Passau, Munich and
Augsburg, the Management Academy of Munich and the Bavarian State
Government.
Her
areas of special interest lie in the social competence area of
relationship building and personal development, which include topics
such as coaching intercultural teams, customer-oriented selling and
facilitating corporate culture change.
Herb Nestler
Herb
is an American with a multicultural background who has lived in
Germany since 1988. He holds a Master of Arts degree in Communications
from Northwestern University in the USA and has held executive
positions with Westinghouse Broadcasting, Plough Inc. and Rotary
International. He has been on the faculties of three US universities
and two international studies programs in Europe.
While still living
in the US he negotiated agreements and conducted business in 27
countries. He was the first European resident to be certified by the
non-profit Center for Creative Leadership to conduct their Working
with Others seminar.
He has trained and
coached thousands of professionals on four continents from Siemens and
its daughter companies, Daimler Chrysler, Kurtz GmbH, Körber AG,
Audi, Goodyear Tire, KPMG Consulting, E.ON Energy, the city of Munich
and Sartorius AG, just to name a few. His topics cover a wide range of
performance-enhancing skills including leadership styles, teamworking,
self-assessment and stress management.
